Prior to forming his firm, the Law Office of Robert W. Harrell, III L.L.C., Attorney Trey Harrell was an associate at a prominent law firm, where he practiced Estate Law as well as Criminal Defense and Personal Injury. A true family man, Trey's practice current focus is dealing with Estate Planning matters, Wills, Trusts and Power of Attorneys. As a father of two small children, Trey truly understands the necessity of making sure wishes are upheld and family is properly provided for after a death.
Over the years, on top of his Estate Planning practice, Trey is able to utilize the extensive experience he has gained in the areas of Personal Injury as well as Criminal Defense. Prior to entering private practice and founding the Law Office of Robert W. Harrell III L.L.C., Trey served as an Assistant Solicitor, where he prosecuted numerous individuals charged with crimes ranging from Fraud to Attempted Murder. This experience gave Trey the confidence to be in court and capable of taking the case all the way to a jury for his clients if need be.

Additionally, Trey is a third generation Charlestonian and his roots in the community run deep. He is the grandson of Commissioner Robert W. "Bob" Harrell, Sr., former SCDOT Highway Commissioner, and the son of Speaker Robert W. "Bobby" Harrell, Jr., former Speaker of the South Carolina House of Representatives.
Trey and his wife, Amber, live in Mt. Pleasant with their two Children. When he is not working with clients, he enjoys playing with his kids, being out on the water and rooting for his South Carolina Gamecocks.
Kate Boss was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to Charleston, SC to be with her family. At the Law Office of Robert W. Harrell, she works as a legal assistant and office administrator.
When Kate is not in the office, she is enjoying the outdoors and cooking with friends and family. Kate also enjoys horseback riding and is an artist on her free time.
Melissa Rogers started with the Law Office of Robert W. Harrell, III in August 2018. She graduated from the University of Kentucky and received her J.D. at The Charleston School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Melissa worked as mental health crisis counselor serving 17 counties in Kentucky.
While attending law school, she interned at the Charleston County Public Defender's Office, and was a summer law clerk for a Charleston firm working on a nursing home neglect case. When she's not in the office, Melissa enjoys boxing, and walking her dogs on the beach.
